Prince Mkosana

Prince Mkosana is a Project Engineer at Thermo Electron, a subsidiary of Thermo Fisher Scientific, specialising in Bulk Weighing, Monitoring and Sampling Solutions. His biggest project to date is the Mexican Power Utility 2-stage Sampling Plant which was successfully completed and installed in February 2019. Before devoting his full-time work to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Prince served as Chief Technician at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), the second biggest university in Zimbabwe. He has also taught Industrial and Engineering Design at NUST and Gwanda State University. Prior to that, his different roles in a gold mine, a quarry and a foundry have all contributed to shaping the professional that he is today. He is a holder of a BEng (Hons) Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Masters’ Degree (cum laude) in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management.
